Bigg Boss Season 1 ended Today & the Grand Finale lived up to all the expectations. The eviction of the three housemates among the last Five has been planned in an innovative manner.
1st Eviction: 5 Housemates were sent to each room in the Bigg Boss house. As Archana's entry door remained locked, She was the first to face elimination.
2nd Eviction: While the boxes opened by Adarsh, Hariteja & Shiva Balaji were empty, Navdeep's box consist of an object and it confirms his elimination.
3rd Eviction: Bigg Boss gave an opportunity for one of the three remaining contestants to walk out of the house with a suitcase having a cash of Rs 10 lakh. As none of them used to opportunity, Tarak has directly announced that Hariteja has been eliminated.
Finally, NTR guided Shiva Balaji & Adarsh to the Grand Finale stage to announce the winner. Shiva Balaji won the title by a slight margin of around 8.5 lakh votes.
In the 10th Week, Around 11.95 crore votes have been polled. 1) Shiva Balaji (3.35 crore approx), 2) Adarsh (3.25 crore approx), 3) Hariteja (2.8 crore approx).
NTR presented the trophy & handed over the suitcase with Rs 50 lakh prize money to Shiva Balaji. The Winner claimed he is grateful to audience for making this journey so memorable. He thanked housemates for being so nice to him & his wife Madhumita for the support she offered throughout this tough period.
In between the eliminations, Bigg Boss presented few Awards for Ex-Housemates [Mahesh Kathi - Uchitha Salaha, Sampoornesh Babu - Mr Ayomayam, Deeksha Panth - Grinder, Prince - Mr.Romeo, Madhupriya - Gundello Godari, Sameer - Gurakarayudu, Dhanraj - Best Entertainer, Kathi Karthika - Fitting Master]
Young Tiger thanked Bigg Boss for giving him the opportunity to be part of the reality show. He opined the show has become a huge success because of the love showered by the Telugu People. Surprisingly, Jr signed off without clarifying whether he would host Bigg Boss Season 2 or not.
