TS Govt Conditions Hamper The Proceedings Of Small Film
By: Tupaki Desk | 11 Jun 2020 6:00 PM ISTThe ongoing crisis has resulted in an economic downfall all over the World. Tollywood is no exception for Corona and already few producers are feeling the heat!
The latest news doing rounds in Telugu Film Nagar is all about the possible ways to resume shootings of the stalled films after the lockdown eases.
The Telangana government has made it clear to follow the safety guidelines and gave the orders to proceed for shootings and filmings. The govt. has kept a condition that only the films that have completed 50% and above are only eligible to resume shooting. Already post production works are going on for films that have completed more than 75% of filming.
Now the producers are chalking all the plans for a safe shooting environment and asked all the production units to go for a minimum crew of just 25 members. Moreover the producers of Pushpa and Sarkar Vari Paata have stalled the plans and they are in a momentum to start in the next year after bearing all the losses so far!
It is ok for the big films that didn't start filming so far but for small films bearing the safety budget is again a burden! Only God can save their filming and release.
On the other side, the actors are said to be fearing the Corona pandemic as they have to deal with crew closely while makeup and if at all in the intimate scenes too which cannot be canned with the physical distance and so called measures. Moreover, stars do not want to risk themselves and their families as of now when cases of pandemic are on a rise!
