Bomb Threat Issued To Superstar's Residence

An unidentified person reportedly called the Chennai police control room and issued a bomb threat to superstar Rajinikanth on Thursday. The caller informed that a bomb has been planted in the residence of Rajinikanth.
Within no time, the Chennai police performed search operations at the superstar's Poes Garden residence in Chennai with sniffer dogs and bomb detectors and found no trace of explosive at the residence.
This has caused a huge ruckus at Poes Garden with fans of Rajini gathering up amid the growing virus cases in the city.
It was found that someone pranked the bomb attack. The Chennai police are investigating based on the phone call.
This is not the first time that threatening calls for Rajinikanth's home to be bombed registered. Many times, phone calls like these show up. However, as the elections are approaching in Tamil Nadu, Police are taking each small thing very seriously.
