Whenever BJP MLC Somu Veerraju speaks to media, People could expect him to criticize the Ruling Party more than the Opposition. He don't even care about the fact that TDP is still the alliance partner of the saffron party.
Somu Veerraju Today targeted CM Chandrababu Naidu, IT Minister Nara Lokesh, Narsaraopet MP Rayapati and Rajya Sabha Member TG Venkatesh. He demanded TDP Government to disclose the works being done so far using the Central Funds for Polavaram. Pointing out Chandrababu's ultimatum that he is willing to give back the responsibility to complete Polavaram to Centre, He questioned, 'Then, Why did they brought a new company to complete the project?'.
The Council Member quoted Nara Lokesh received 19 awards so far. He asked, 'Isn't the funds offered by Centre made this happen?'.
Veerraju claims BJP deserves credit for merging 7 mandals in AP for Polavaram Project. 'It's unfair on part of TDP Leaders to criticize Alliance Partner. Our Government is for poor, it's not for Businessmen like Rayapati & TG. Rayapati have the history of filling tobacco bundles with stones and exporting them to China. Such a person criticizes Modi,' he comments.
The BJP Leader agreed Chandrababu was instrumental in making two leaders as Prime Ministers with the support of Congress in the past. He, however, feels there won't be such a situation in the near future.
