There was a decent buzz over Collection King Mohan Babu's 'Son Of India'. Though the advance bookings were not encouraging at all, people were curious to know about how the film turned out and reports from the viewers claim that it is a test to the patience of everyone in theatres.

The story is about Kadiyam Babji alias Virupaksha (Mohan Babu) who kidnaps people from various professions and NIA officer Ira (Pragya Jaiswal) is after him.

Why is he kidnapping people and what is he doing with them? Will Ira catch him? All these questions will be answered if you can spend some of your valuable hours in the theatre which is screening 'Son Of India'.

Mohan Babu is known for his dialogues and he delivered some hard-hitting dialogues here and there which may appeal to a few.

He looks decent and the camera is solely focused on him though there are a lot of noted actors who played key roles. The veteran did a fine job though he looked a bit unnatural and was not at ease during a lot of scenes.

Diamond Ratnababu took an age-old story and narrated it in the most formulaic way possible. The mediocre presentation and the experimentation tested the patience of the audience to the core.

The viewers stated that there are high amounts of vulgarity as some characters are showcased in skimpy outfits. The audience are felt that the makers have gone overboard with such scenes as it is a patriotic film which deals with serious issues like country, revenge, caste and many others.

The revenge drama should be narrated in such a way that the character's emotion should connect with the audience but it is not the case with 'Son Of India'.

Though this movie has less than 90 minutes runtime, it still feels like ages according to many and they feel that the single-person narrative did not work in favor of the movie.

On the whole, 'Son Of India' is a disappointment on all fronts and not a lot of people are recommending this film to watch it in theatres.
