Amid such inflated remuneration demands, a star heroine reportedly charged Rs 11 as her remuneration for a project.
Apparently, Sonam Kapoor took just Rs 11 as her remuneration for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, a biographical drama based on the life of Indian sprinter, Milkha Singh. She played the female lead in the film and for her efforts, she took home just Rs 11 remuneration.
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag director Omprakash Mehra revealed that Sonam really loved the story of the film and she took 1 week time to decide on the project. A week later, she agreed to play the female lead in the film and she took just Rs 11 as her remuneration.
Incidentally, Sonam is acting under Mehra's direction for his upcoming directorial as well.
