Sonu Sood Statue Erected At Durga Puja Pandal In Kolkata

Actor Sonu Sood has earned rare respect. He was recently honoured by Keshtopur Prafulla Kanan Durga Puja committee in Kolkata. They installed a life-size idol of the actor.
Sonu Sood had selflessly helped thousands of migrant labourers and students return to their homes during the lockdown. He still continues to assist many people who reach out to him.
Now to honour the actor, a Durga Puja pandal in Kolkata installed a life-size idol of Sonu Sood. His idol was displayed alongside a bus, which carried migrant labourers to their homes. The actor reacted to this and tweeted, "My biggest award ever."
Apart from his idol, the panal had also displayed tragic moments from the migrant crisis like an idol of a child sleeping on a suitcase as his mother dragged it along the road and another of the woman who rode a bicycle, with her injured father from Gurugram in Haryana to Bihar's Darbhanga, among others.
