Earlier, he offered his hotel in Juhu to host doctors, police personnel, sanitation workers and other frontline workers of Covid-19. Now Sonu is back in the news by arranging 10 buses for migrants to reach their homes from Maharashtra and Karnataka.
Even after the central government's permission, a few state governments are still not allowing the migrant labour to reach their homes. At these crucial times, Sonu took the permission from the government and hired private buses to send the migrants from Thane in Maharashtra and Gulbarga in Karnataka.
Before these buses started, Sonu arrived at Thane bus stop to give a send-off to the migrant workers.
"I have taken required permissions from the state governments to send the migrants back. I was totally moved after looking at children and elderly people suffer on roads and streets in Mumbai due to lockdown. Not just in two states, but I am ready to help people stuck in other states as well," Sonu said.
The netizens are pouring praises on him for rescuing many lives during this lockdown days. This on-screen villain has turned off-screen hero now by winning the hearts yet again.
