Space Station Set For Varun Film@Annapurna

There are two trends in Telugu film industry now. One is making biopics and the other trend is erecting huge sets for films. It is known that recently released 'Rangasthalam' turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office. The fictional village set has impressed everybody. Art director couple Ramakrishna-Mounika designed the village set authentically with so much detailing that they are getting huge appreciation.

After working for a super hit film like 'Rangasthalam', they are getting ready to work for a space film directed by Sankalp Reddy. Mega hero Varun Tej is the hero of this sci-fi film. Director Sankalp Reddy who is known for 'Ghazi' has erected a special submarine set past. Sankalp Reddy reportedly gave Rama Krishna-Mounika couple the opportunity to design space station set as he was impressed with their 1980's backdrop village set in 'Rangasthalam'.

They are going to erect this space station set in Annapurna studios in a moderate budget. Sankalp Reddy is planning to picturise some sequences in this set and he is planning to shoot zero-gravity scenes in Georgia. Meanwhile, hero Varun Tej will undergo astronaut training for 20 days to play the role authentically.
