His death has left a deep void in the music industry but there are some rumours going around on the internet about how SPB's family members were unable to pay the hospital bills which amounted up to 3 crores.
These rumours spread like wildfire and it says that there was no help from the local government and it was Indian vice-president Venkaiah Naidu who came to the family's aid by paying those bills. However, SPB's son SP Charan thrashed those rumours by claiming it as offensive and hurtful. He claimed that they are completely false and asked people not to believe in them.
Not only Charan but also Venkaiah Naidu's daughter Mrs. Deepa issued a press note making it clear that neither she nor his father paid the hospital bills of SP Balu and urged people not to spread such unnecessary rumours. She requested everyone to stop believing in such WhatsApp forwards. She said that MGM healthcare hospitals informed SPB's family not to pay anything more than 2 weeks ago.
It is high time people stop spreading these untrue and fake news which affects the people who are mourning the loss of their loved one.
