Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently working on 'Godfather' as his work in Koratala Siva's 'Acharya' is almost done. This project under the direction of Mohan Raja is a remake of Malayalam super hit movie 'Lucifer'. Megastar will be seen in a very powerful role and sources say that there are going to be a lot of surprises for the Mega fans.
Insiders reveal that well known anchor and actress Anasuya Bharadwaj will be seen as Chiranjeevi's sister in this film while Satyadev is going to play the role of his younger brother. There is another key role of the lead character's right hand man which is very crucial for the film and Salman Khan was reportedly approached for this role. There are going to be a lot of heroism elevation scenes in this movie and Mohan Raja reportedly spent a lot of time perfecting the script where he made it pleasing to Megastar and his fans.
Well known singer Gaddar who fights on people's issues in society is going to be seen in a special role as per sources. Apparently, the film has a flashback portion and a crucial song featuring Gaddar in it is going to be one of the highlights of the film. The team are reportedly shooting Gaddar's portions and the official announcement is yet to arrive. Konidela Productions and Super Good Films are bankrolling this project while music is being given by Thaman.
After 'Godfather', Chiru will be moving onto the sets of 'Bhola Shankar' which is a remake of Tamil film 'Vedhalam'. This movie will be directed by Meher Ramesh and award winning actress Keerthy Suresh will be seen as Megastar's sister. Coming back to 'Acharya', Pooja Hegde will be seen as his romantic interest of Charan while Kajal is the heroine of Chiranjeevi.
Sangeetha will give a special appearance and veteran composer Mani Sharma is working on the music. The film also includes noted actors like Sonu Sood and others playing crucial roles. Fans are eagerly waiting to see the father and son duo together on the big screen. This high-budget social drama which is written and being directed by Koratala Siva has been in the making from a really long time. Set in a fictional village named 'Dharmasthali', this film revolves around temples, corruption and even has a touch of Naxalism too.
