Special Meetings Held About Ticket Rates In Theatres!
By: Tupaki Desk | 19 May 2022 12:38 PM GMTThe Telugu Film Chamber has organized a meeting in order to talk about piracy, ticket rates and negativity which is being spread on social media. It was attended by bigwigs like Seshagiri Rao, Maadala Ravi, Tammareddy Bharadwaja and others.
Aadi Seshagiri Rao said, "The film industry failed to stop piracy and more action should be taken regarding the stoppage of it. The producers' council has gone into the hands of a few. It got divided into groups. People are talking about the ticket rates hike as they want. Dil Raju is saying now that increasing ticket rates is a wrong move. When asking the government, they should have requested for flexible rates which would have solved many problems. The rates should be changed as per demand. People need to have a discussion with each other like before."
Talking about the OTT platforms, Seshagiri Rao said that there is no censor on digital platforms right from the beginning and this should be discussed with the government. He stated that the trolling of films on social media has increased rapidly and necessary action should be taken. He asked people not to make personal comments on celebrities but analyze and criticize the film's story or narration instead.
Tammareddy Bharadwaja said that celebrities are also human beings who have feelings and families. It is necessary to control the spread of fake news according to him. MAA vice-president Maadala Ravi stated that media is very necessary in today's world but social media turned into a place filled with fake news. He added that many big names who worked very hard and earned a lot of respect are getting treated badly with the spreading of fake news. People are coming up with fake news which said Srikanth, Sharada and Kavitha were dead. They are even making bad comments on MAA president Manchu Vishnu. The film industry condemns this together.
