Sridevi Is Lady NTR - Ashwini Dutt

Ashwini Dutt, is one of the prominent producers of Telugu Cinema Industry. He produced films with NTR, ANR, Krishna, Sobhan Babu, Balakrishna, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh.
Even he did produce films with Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Jr. NTR too. He is getting ready to release his next, Mahanati, Savitri biopic and started works on Mahesh25 and Nag-Nani Multi-starrer.
The producer has seen the growth and career of Sridevi from close quarters as both started at the same time in 1970s. He is a great admirer of NT Ramarao and he said, "Sridevi is like Lady NTR!"
Ashwini Dutt attended Sridevi's funeral in Mumbai and shared, "I couldn't believe she left us all so early. The entire family is in huge shock and her daughters are unable to recover from trauma. I couldn't watch them like that."
He continued, " Sridevi used to conduct herself really well. After NTR, I saw such discipline in her. She is Lady NTR for me. She never cared about remuneration and what happened to all the money."
He shared a memory from his experiences and said, "Sridevi's dedication for work is unparalleled. With Low BP, she fell at 4 o' clock in the morning and her lip slightly broke. It was bleeding but she refused to cancel the shoot and got treatment from a local small hospital while I was trying to arrange for a transport to a major hospital. She covered the lip with make-up and completed the shoot in Tirupathi for Govinda Govinda. It is her role in the film, Jagadeekaveerudu Athiloka Sundari, that made the film a memorable success and she agreed to do my Aakhari Poratam, even when she was busy in Hindi as a star. It is her films, that made my production house, such a big one in Telugu."
