Sri Devi is busy promoting her movie, Mom, that is slated for release this Friday, 7th July. The actress normally doesn't speak to media much but for the promotions she has been highly accessible and also been sharing few things that are hard to digest. Even her hardcore fans are asking if they are true?!
Sri Devi who crossed 50, still wants to look as presentable and as glamorous as an young actress and she even rejected few offers as she did not want to play elderly roles this soon. The actress in one of her interviews revealed, " I never thought off giving up on movies. I always wanted to be a part of movies and wanted to act as well. I never wanted to take a break and there is no retirement as far as I'm concerned."
Well, the actress immediately stopped acting after marrying her husband, Boney Kapoor and did few Television series to keep herself busy. She also got into the production and the films did not work at all. Even Boney Kapoor too is facing some financial difficulties as his movies flopped at the box office. The rumours suggest that Sri Devi took to acting as she wanted to earn money and it is the only profession in cinema where you earn but do not invest money.
We are as confused as you are as Sri Devi says she never thought of retirement and rumour mills, even her previous films suggest otherwise. Anyways, we are happy to see her on screen again and hope, Mom will be her strong comeback.
