In Telugu traditions, after naming ceremony, welcoming an young baby into family is complete when they are fed for the first time with solid food after birth.
This is the time when some families announce the name of their young kid to world and it is the time for several other households, when they decide the fate of their new kid.
Telugu households call this Anna Prasana and they perform it somewhere between 6-8 months after the birth. The cradle ceremony is done within one month of the birth and this is the next big ceremony for any telugu household with a new born.
After this, Telugu people celebrate puttu ventrukalu or tonsure of the baby hair for the first time and then Aksharabhyasam - baby learning to write for the first time. These are all celebrated to tell the world that a new human is born from a family and people celebrate them in private or in a grand fashion.
Megastar Chiranjeevi's youngest daughter, Sreeja gave birth to a baby girl few months and Mega family, came together in a private ceremony to perform Annaprasana of young Navishka.
Megastar Chiranjeevi, his wife Surekha, his mother, elder daughter, Pawan Kalyan's wife Anna Lezhneva with their son Mark Shankar, Nagababu with his wife and Niharika were present at the event.
Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Allu Aravind, Allu Sireesh, Sai Dharam Tej, Varun Tej, Pawan Kalyan were absent from the event as everyone might have been busy with their projects.
