Srikanth Addala Making One Story Into Two Parts!
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 April 2023 6:57 PM ISTSrikanth Addala is a director who is known for his family-friendly films with good message. He showed his ability with his debut film 'Kotha Bangaru Lokam'. The film was a huge success and his second film took six years but 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu' is a film that stayed with everyone. The emotions connected with everyone and his third film 'Mukunda' did decently too. It was the launch of Varun Tej as a hero.
But the trouble began when Addala decided to make 'Brahmotsavam'. This film which came out in 2016 was a huge disaster. He made this film on a huge budget with a stellar cast. The film did not get good collections and Srikanth Addala was bashed by every critic for making a film without a clear story. He faced a lot of criticism and he had to wait for another five years to get an opportunity. He remade 'Narappa' with Venkatesh which was released directly on the OTT platform. It is a faithful remake of 'Asuran' which did not leave a chance for Addala's to show his caliber.
Now, the talented filmmaker is making an interesting movie with a new hero. 'Jaya Janaki Nayaka' and 'Akhanda' fame Miryala Ravindar Reddy is producing this and a youngster from his family is getting introduced as hero with this movie. Sources say that 'Pedda Kapu' is the title under consideration and it is will be set in the backdrop of the 1980s. Apparently, the story revolves around Godavari districts and their cast-based politics.
Sources say that Srikanth Addala is planning to divide this film into two parts. Though it was not part of the initial plan, the huge footage made the makers release the movie in two parts. The first and the second movie will have a gap of six months and the shooting is almost completed. Reports suggest that the first look, title and other promotional content will be coming out soon.
