'Srimanthudu' marked career best opening for Mahesh Babu and the family drama stands only next to mighty 'Baahubali' by the end of first weekend with a Worldwide share of over Rs 42.73 crore.
Even the revenues in Overseas were overwhelming. 'Srimanthudu' crossed $2 Million mark on Sunday itself, making it the 2nd Telugu flick to do so. Even though the distributor is in a safe zone, Exhibitors are yet to claim profits due to the sky high prices for which the film was sold.
As the Worldwide pre-release theatrical business is about Rs 58 crore, 'Srimanthudu' might achieve break-even by this Sunday and its a great achievement.
