Star Hero defends Rs 50 Remuneration

Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan raised eye brows by charging exactly Rs 50 crore for his upcoming period drama 'Mohenjo Daro' which is being directed by Ashutosh Gowariker of 'Lagaan' and 'Jodha Akhbar' fame.
When asked about it, Hrithik replied, "What he is getting paid is solely his business" and questions, "Does anyone wishes to be in a business which doesn't look like a profitable proposition?'.
Apart from Hrithik, Aamir Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan have been charging either over Rs 50 crore pay package or share in profits of their films. On few occasions, These actors pocket both remuneration and profit share.
Paying Rs 50 crore seems to be not a big deal for Bollywood production houses with almost all the star studded films making it to Rs 100 crore club within first week.
