By: Tupaki Desk | 8 April 2022 8:39 AM GMTKollywood actor Thalapathy Vijay is a massive superstar who enjoys an unmatchable craze and following among the masses. Experts dub him as the next Rajinikanth. Such is the craze he has in Tamil Nadu. His recent films hinted at his possible political entry. Adding fuel to this, he had allowed his fan club members to use his name for the local body polls.
The star hero is gearing up for the release of the much-awaited Beast. The Vijay starrer will hit the theatres on the 13th of this month. Ahead of the release, the members of the fan club Vijay Makkal Iyakkam received a strong warning for the star hero.
It has been reported that the fan club members were strictly ordered to not troll or make jokes about politicians and bureaucrats. Having warned them to not do so, Vijay is said to have made it clear that those who cross the line will have to face the consequences as legal action will be taken against them.
A statement was also issued in the name of Bussy Anand, who is the General Secretary of Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, the registered fan club of Thalapathy Vijay. In the statement, the members were directed to not joke about anyone on social media. If they do so, they will be expelled from the fan club.
"Do not register or share anything trolling politicians, bureaucrats or anyone in the form of statements, memes or posters. As per the instructions of Thalapathy Vijay, I'm informing you that anyone who acts against advice of our Thalapathy will be removed from the organisation and legal action would be taken against them," the letter which is believed to be released by Bussy Anand says.
Beast is directed by Nelson Dhilipkumar, while Sun Pictures bankrolled it. Successful lady Pooja Hegde who is riding high on back-to-back successes is playing the female lead. Beast is like a comeback to Tamil films for Pooja Hegde. She made her debut in Mugamoodi.
On the work front, Vijay had recently started his direct Telugu film. The venture is a bilingual project and Vamshi Paidipally is helming the project. Happening beauty Rashmika Mandanna is roped to play the leading lady.
