#MeToo is the toast of the season. Everyone is talking about it and every male actor or politician is living in the mortal fear of being named and shamed by some woman. But, there is something very interesting. Who are those who are speaking out against sexual harassment?
Most of those who spoke are yesteryear heroines, small time actors or playback singers. They are the ones who are raising their voice. Star heroines are just lending token support to them. In-demand heroines or top actresses are not taking to the Me Too route. Only those whose career is at the fag end are speaking out. So, naturally questions are being asked if these out-of-demand heroines and actresses are craving for media attention. Sources say if a star heroine opens up, she stands to lose film offers. Even in Tollywood, only the likes of Radhika Apte and Kangana Ranaut are speaking out. None of the big ticket heroine has opened up so far. Isn't this strange?
