Star Heroines Says No To Biopics At All Costs!
By: Tupaki Desk | 5 Aug 2020 7:23 AM GMTBiopics are made to inspire people and actors die to play the roles of famous personalities as it challenges their acting caliber. But our star heroines are showing zero interest in biopics and outright rejecting them when offered.
Going into the details, star heroines like Samantha, Shruti Hassan, Kajal and Tamanna are walking away from biopics these days. Interestingly, all of them are acting in women-centric films lately but they are denying biopic offers in Bollywood and are not willing to work in such films despite getting offered huge remunerations.
While Bollywood star heroines like Vidya Balan, Kangana Ranaut, Tapsee and young heroines like Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Sonam, Parineeti and others working in biopics and gaining a lot of awards and accolades, our South star heroines are not showing any interest in it.
Samantha is doing heroine-oriented films like 'U Turn' and 'Oh Baby'. Her role 'Majili' is also very important for the story. Kajal is acting in 'Queen' Tamil remake and is doing performance-oriented roles in films like 'Mosagallu', 'Indian 2' and others. The same goes for Shruti Hassan and Tamanna too. They are doing heroine-oriented films and at the same time doing good roles in regular movies. But they are politely refusing biopics from Bollywood and the Hindi media is talking a lot about it.
