Star Producer Hits A Jackpot With 'Varasudu'!

It is well known that star producer Dil Raju is making a film titled 'Varisu' with Tamil star hero Vijay. The movie is simultaneously releasing in Telugu as 'Varasudu' and it is directed by Vamsi Paidipally. Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine while Thaman is the music composer. The first look posters brought a lot of positive buzz to this flick.
With the makers eyeing a Sankranti release, the promotions are expected to begin soon. Being a Vijay film, 'Varasudu' has a humongous buzz in Tamil Nadu. If sources have to be believed, the pre-release business of the film has already been completed by Dil Raju. Barring the Telugu rights, the star producer sold the rest of the rights for a whopping sum of 250 crores.
The Chennai circles claim that Dil Raju has already landed in heavy profits and the Telugu rights are expected to go for a good sum too considering Vamsi Paidipally's image and Vijay's recent run at the box office. Going by the stills, there are a few netizens who claim that 'Varasudu' may run on the lines of Mahesh Babu's 'Maharshi' directed by Vamsi Paidipally himself. We need to wait for the teaser or trailer to arrive in order to know more about this project.
Coming to 'Varisu', Srikanth, Sangeetha, Jayasudha, Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, 'Kick' Shyam and 'Yogi Babu' are also a part of this film. Hari and Ahishor Salmon are providing the story and screenplay along with Vamsi Paidipally. Karthik Pazhani is the Director Of Photography while KL Praveen is the editor. Vivek will be penning the dialogues and additional screenplay.
