Audiences Response To 'Maharshi' Title

Mahesh is currently busy shooting for his upcoming movie under the direction of Vamsi Paidipally. After creating a lot of suspense, the makers have finally unveiled the title of the movie as 'Maharshi' in a unique way. Recently on the occasion of Mahesh's birthday, the movie unit released the first look, teaser as well as the title of the movie. Though the first look and teaser impressed the audience, the title is getting a mixed response. In fact, 'Maharshi' is a used title. A long time ago, legendary director Vamsi helmed 'Maharshi' movie starring a small range Hero Raghava which became a flop but can be considered as one of the classics because of Ilayaraja's music.
Some are commenting why the team of Mahesh25 picked up an old title when the others are reminding that most of the movies that used the titles of old classics got tanked at the box office. Interestingly, director name is the same for the old 'Maharshi' as well as the upcoming 'Maharshi'.
Let's wait and see if the new 'Maharshi' face the same fate as the old one or create records at the box office. Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead in the movie. Dil Raju, PVP, and Ashwini Dutt are bankrolling this project.
