Sensible director Sekhar Kammula is known for his relatable films. Ever since the beginning, he made simple films like 'Anand', 'Godavari', 'Happy Days', 'Life Is Beautiful' and others that connect well with the audience. He takes out the daily happenings and regular moments in our lives and present beautifully on the big screen which is the secret of his success.
His last film 'Fidaa' was a blockbuster which earned a lot of profits. After taking a brief gap, he directed 'Love Story' with Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi as the lead. The teasers and songs have already become huge hits. Especially, the folk number 'Saranga Dariya' featuring Sai Pallavi became a huge sensation and the official video is yet to come out. The makers are yet to finalize the release as it got postponed multiple times due to the lockdowns.
In the meanwhile, Sekhar Kammula teamed with producer Narayan Das K Narang once again and announced a pan-Indian project with Dhanush as the main lead. As we know, Dhanush is a huge star in Tamil and has a market all over the country. He is currently working on a Hollywood film made by Russo Brothers. His Hindi film 'Atrangi Re' with Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan is wrapped up and getting ready for release. Other than these two, he is working on a few interesting Tamil projects.
At this juncture, he accepted a pan-Indian film under the direction of Sekhar Kammula. Everyone is excited about this project and the shooting is expected to start in the next few months. Since 'Love Story' is wrapped up, Kammula is currently working on the script for his film with Dhanush. Apparently, he is done with the first draft and gave a narration to the 'Asuran' actor. News is that this film revolves around the lives of middle-class people and their way of living, their experiences and many others.
