Former heroine and YSR Congress spokesperson Roja has finally won from Nagiri Constituency as MLA. After losing two times in a row, Roja has finally won the seat over Telugudesam senior leader Gali Muddukrishnam Naidu. However official confirmation over this result is yet to come as Election Commission is still not giving clarity over this.
Despite YSR Congress heading towards a big shattered dream in Rayalaseema and losing heavily in Seemandhra, Roja managed to win. Political observers say that Roja has won basically on sentiment basis as she lost elections two times consecutively. But losing a big giant like Gali Muddukrishna Naidu is a huge blow for TDP in Rayalseema region.
