Following the tremendous response for the 'Pokiri' re-release on superstar Mahesh Babu's birthday, a lot of fans are pushing the producers to release the remastered versions of their hero's super hit movies in theatres once again. With Pawan Kalyan's birthday arriving soon, fans of Powerstar are all set to enjoy his hit film 'Jalsa' on the big screens once again. The movie is all set to release in a lot of theatres on the 1st of September.

The money which is earned through all the special screenings across the Telugu states will be used for charity. The response is said to be phenomenal and more shows are reportedly getting added now. They cannot wait to see Pawan Kalyan in full energy on the big screens again.

'Jalsa' is the first film under the Pawan-Trivikram combination. They went on to make movies like 'Attarintiki Daredi' and 'Agnyathavaasi'. Trivikram even penned dialogues for Pawan's films like 'Teenmaar' and 'Bheemla Nayak'. They became strong friends after 'Jalsa'. Goa beauty Ileana D'Cruz is the heroine in this film while Parvati Melton played the second heroine's role. Mukesh Rishi played the antagonist's role while Tanikella Bharani is seen as the villain's sidekick. The movie is a super entertaining romantic comedy with a touch of Naxalism. It depicts the journey of Sanjay Sahu who becomes a Naxalite out of anger at society and returns back to normal life thereby falling in love. There are many noted artists in this film like Prakash Raj, Ali, Brahmanandam, Sunil, Kamilini Mukharjee, Shivaji, Dharmavarapu and many others. Produced by the Geetha Arts banner, the music of Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad for this film is still ruling the playlists of many people.
