Sridevi Was Never Penniless

Sridevi one of the most popular and loved actresses and divas of Indian Cinema, recently passed away due to accidental drowning in her Dubai hotel room.
She got even a place in Oscar Memorium and the actress death has become a huge controversy in the news.
Ram Gopal Verma wrote an Open Letter, stating that Sridevi went through lot of financial turmoil, post her father's death.
He stated that she almost went penniless as her sister, Sri Latha, filed a case for her share in the properties. During that time, Boney Kapoor became her aide and they married.
Even though it is an emotionally moving letter, T. Subbirami Reddy, who organized a condolence meet for her, said, "I knew her very well from her younger days. We have a family relation too. She always used to discuss with me about properties and financial issues. She never went penniless, but she did face some financial troubles."
He said so, in his eulogy during the condolence meet. Well, many actors and actresses, participated in the event and shared their fond memories of the late actress.
