In the past only the sons of star heroes used to become heroes. But now their nephews and son-in-laws are also entering into the industry. The first want to join this league is super star Krishna's son-in-law Sudheer Babu who marked his debut with SMS movie. RB Choudary bankrolled this project under the production banner of Super Good Films. But, as per the record reports this is just for the namesake because Sudheer himself invested in this film.

While talking in an interview, Sudheer revealed some interesting facts about his first film. Director Tathineni Satya approached Sudheer decided to do the Telugu remake of Tamil super hit movie SMS and approached Sudheer. The actor confessed that he arranged some money and produced the film. It is a known fact that the movie became a disaster at the box office which greatly disappointed Sudheer who took 2 years to recover from this incident. He added that the failure of SMS movie made him realise that the audience look more at the actor inside rather than the hero on screen. Later, director Maruthi approached Sudheer Babu and narrated some scripts. But as he decided to do a concept based movie but not a commercial film, he Prema Katha Chitram which became a super hit.

The martial arts Sudheer did at the end of the movie made the makers of Baaghi to get him on board. This Mosagallaku Mosagadu actor confidently said that the makers of Shamanthakamani movie believed in his talent and approached him. After seeing his performance in that movie, Indraganti Mohan Krishna selected Sudheer Babu for Sammohanam movie which also became a decent hit recently.
