Sudheer Babu is one of the few actors who believed in his ability to act than most of the others. He tried and worked hard to now being able to make a name on National Level as well. Did you know he is a National Level Badminton player once?
Yes, the actor played in many tournaments from District to state to National level and he even played doubles with Pullela Gopichand. Actor revealed about this side of his to media recently. He said, " I like Badminton at an early age of 6 and started working on it with passion. I went to Bengaluru and joined in Prakash Padukone academy to train myself for National Championships. I was senior to Chetan Anand ( who won Arjuna Award) and picked him as a part of our team for practise."
He continued, " After that I went on to appear in Nationals and there I met Pullela Gopichand for the first time. I played doubles with him and now I am playing his character on screen. I really wonder how did life come to a full circle like that. I know him personally and will try to bring him alive on screen."
Sudheer Babu also shared that he meets Mahesh quite often and give him some tips in how to maintain his fitness. Well, we wish to see the Dronacharya Award winner Pullela Gopichand's life on screen for sure and hope Sudheer Babu will shine as his friend on screen too.
