Sujeeth was expected to handle Prabhas, immediately after a massive success like Baahubali and he failed miserably at giving a cohesive film.
Many supported him outside industry saying that he is too young and shouldn't be judged on one failure. But the impact of the failure was huge.
Industry people thought, the young director will show some sign of efficiency in handling a big hero and really has something special to offer as he convinced producers to put up massive budget.
But a confusing edit, lack of sensible screenplay and cohesive story, sense of the opportunity at his disposal, shocked many and they have distanced the director, it seems.
Producers, stars and even upcoming actors did not show interest to work with him it seems. From being a sensational young talent, he ended up being a director no one wants to work with in one night.
The young director is trying to find a way to come out of this rut and approached his first film hero, Sharwanand with an idea, it seems.
He is banking on the fact that their Run Raja Run became a commercial success launching their careers in different directions. Sharwanand was approached by many producers for commercially viable films after the unexpected success of this comedy film.
Now, he is wrapping up 96 remake in Telugu and Srikaaram films. As he needs hits, Sujeeth wants to again convince Sharwanand for a comic action film and if the script is right, UV Creations might produce this film to give another chance to the director say sources. Let's wait and see.
