Sukumar Explains The Lesson He Learnt With Mahesh's Film!
By: Tupaki Desk | 24 Aug 2022 2:09 PM GMTAs we know, star director Sukumar interviewed Puri Jagannadh as a part of 'Liger' promotions. It was an engaging interview filled with both of them remembering the good old days as well as talking about their working process. There were a lot of interesting details in the interview and Sukumar said that Puri's 'Idiot' changed his way of writing love stories.
Talking about giving a simple cinema to the audience despite having a lot of knowledge, Puri said, "It's not just about the complexity or the nature of the script that we pick, but the way we present it. It's hard to narrate the story in the simplest way possible but that's the real deal. If you can present your story in a simple manner, you have a recipe for success."
Agreeing to it, Sukumar revealed, "It is indeed true. I got to learn it with 1 Nenokkadine. I had a vision in mind and presented it in my way. But later, I learned that it is about keeping things simple. I changed my method of operation after 1."
A Mahesh Babu fan on the internet funnily responded by saying, "You(Sukumar) experimented with Mahesh and it backfired. You then simplified to an extent with Nannaku Prematho and it was decent success. But you fully incorporated your new methodology with Ram Charan's Rangasthalam and kept things really simple, which worked wonders. You experimented with Mahesh and used the new formula fully for Ram Charan and scored a blockbuster. Hope you come back and deliver us due success as well."
