Darshakudu should score when Puri failed!

There are many films that tried to use the film studios and filmmaking business as the backdrop to tell their story and few tried to tell the story of a director on screen. Even Puri Jagannadh in his hey days, could not make a hit movie in Neninthe with Ravi Teja. The movie tried to follow the life of a person who aspires to become a director from an assistant director but somehow it did not work the audience.

Even the movies that are made using the backdrop in Hindi also did not work big time, except for Om Shanti Om, by Shah Rukh Khan. I Hate Love Stories, which is a regular love story in the novel backdrop also did not work out as expected. But Sukumar is trying to launch his brother's son, Ashok Bandreddy, in the direction of his friend, Hari Prasad Jakka on his own production house with the love story of a Director, in the movie Darshakudu.

The movie, needs to find a place for itself among the hearts of the audience where a director like Puri has failed. Films like Seethamahalakshmi, Sivaranjani have succeeded but due to gripping story. So, if Darshakudu also has a gripping story with all the emotions that hook the audience in a Sukumar film, then the movie should be a hit. Let's see how it will fare as it is releasing tomorrow.
