Singer Ganta Venkata Lakshmi cried foul about not receiving the payment for the chartbuster song 'Jil Jil Jigelu Rani' in 'Rangasthalam'. She complained that the middleman who hired her for singing the track composed by Devi Sri Prasad has cheated her.
Upon knowing about what has happened, Sukumar offered Rs 1 lakh to Venkata Lakshmi. The Singer was on cloud nine upon receiving the payment. Venkata Lakshmi thanked Sukumar and Devi Sri Prasad for giving her an opportunity to sing in such a big movie. She appealed Filmmakers to encourage aspiring/budding Actors & Singers like her.
'Rangasthalam' created a non-Baahubali record by grossing over Rs 200 crore Worldwide. Makers are keen to release the film in other languages as well believing in the strong content. This Ram Charan-starrer would bag most of the Awards next year.
