Sukumar - VD Project Sidelined Completely!!!

Young and sensational hero Vijay Deverakonda got a lot of popularity after 'Arjun Reddy'. He followed it up with movies like 'Geetha Govindham' and 'Taxiwaala' which further solidified his craze. He aimed to gain a pan-Indian success with 'Liger' and the promotions were done quite aggressively in order to showcase his craze across the nation. Despite everything, the movie failed badly at the box office and ended up as one of the biggest disappointments this year.
The effect of 'Liger' failure can surely be seen as his projects are getting canceled one after the other. As we know, Vijay and Puri decided to shelve 'Jana Gana Mana' even after completing a schedule as their 'Liger' turned into a nightmare. He is currently focused on 'Khushi' which is being made under the direction of Shiva Nirvana. Samantha is the heroine in this movie and there are decent expectations on it.
Long back, Deverakonda announced that he will be acting under star filmmaker Sukumar's direction. But this project has been shelved as per reports and fans of Vijay were severely disappointed by it. Sukumar was expected to work with Vijay after 'Liger' gets done but it is not happening. Sukumar gained immense craze after 'Pushpa: The Rise' and he is all set to start filming 'Pushpa: The Rule' soon. This movie may not release until the end of 2024 and we need to see where Vijay is going to be in his career and where Sukumar finds himself as a big shot director. There are reports suggesting that the 'Arya' director will be working with Ram Charan after wrapping up the work of 'Pushpa'. With 'Rangasthalam' combo reuniting once again, the expectations are going to be at an all time high.
Also, Vijay Deverakonda recently gave his green signal to Gautham Tinnanuri as per reports. If this is true, both Vijay and Sukumar have truly moved on from their plans of working together and are going their separate ways.
