Hero Sumanth who entered the industry with the tag of being a relative of Akkineni Nagarjuna, has scored some decent hits. However, the actor has not recorded any big hits and has been away from the industry. After a long time he made a comeback with Naruda Donaruda which is the remake of Hindi hit movie Vicky Donor.
The movie outcome disappointed Sumanth greatly. The Golconda High School actor is now coming with a full length love entertainer Malli Raava. The recently released trailer of the film gained huge positive response and is hinting that the plot has a great feel-good love story.
Nee director Gautam Tinnanuri is helming this project. Sumanth stated that no other director has ever approached him like the way Gautham did with the script. He also said that he got tears in his eyes after listening to the script. "He came to me with a bound script, but the best part was he had already shot some portions of the film and showed me a test reel. I was floored by his approach. I did 22 films. After Godavari and Golconda High School, Malli Raava has the most refreshing plot. We completed the shooting in just 30 days. After working on the pre-production stage for 10 months we started the shooting. Producer Rahul Yadav bankrolled this project and rejected even though Annapurna Studios offered some support." Shared Sumanth in the pre-release event.
Akanksha is going to debut in the industry with this movie. "She is not only beautiful and talented but also very professional." Added Sumanth and said that a good heroine is going to get introduced to the industry with this movie.
