Do you remember, the movie projected by Tamil media and Industry as the next Baahubali and even bigger than that? Yes, Sanghamitra! The movie progress has come to an abrupt halt. Sundar. C, the director of this Magnum opus has decided to complete a small film before going back to this huge production.
Jayam Ravi and Arya are announced as the lead actors of the movie. Shruthi Hassan is announced as Sanghamitra. The movie has been partially promoted at Cannes Film Festival too. Post that Shruthi Hassan decided to walk out of the movie saying that the movie team lacks proper vision and script.
Khushboo Sundar has hit back on these statements. But then the actress herself has revealed that her husband has the put the works of this big film on the back burner and after, completing the sequel to his comic hit, Kalakalappu, he will begin the work on this mega project again. Kalakalappu has been re-made in Telugu with Allari Naresh has hero.
There are many projects like Marudanayagam featuring Kamal Hasan that have come to a halt and never moved forward. Will this project too end like that? We have to wait and see.
