Shruthi's Sangamitra to start at Cannes!

Shruthi Hassan is on cloud nine as she believes her big ticket to life long fame as come her way in the shape of Sangamitra. The movie is the answer for Baahubali from Kollywood.
Well, when anyone does something new or great Tamil Cinema wants to better it or be those who did it. Right from the days of Mughal-E-Azam, Pakeezha, Tamil producers like AV Meiyyappan have planned to repeat the feat or better it. They did take some huge risks and developed a culture in Tamil Cinema that no one can be better than them ever.
Incidentally, even best technicians come from Tamil Nadu as they have infrastructure in place and great legends like K. Balachander, Bharathi raja, Mani Ratnam and Shankar to throw challenges at young directors and give them wings of inspiration to aspire for greatness. Well, Tamil Cinema already has Robo2/ 2.0 from Shankar and Rajnikanth to better Baahubali records with 400 crores budget but even director Sundar C, raised his hands to try and achieve the impossible again.
So his Sangamitra will be a story of Warrior Princess and Arya, Jayam Ravi are selected as protagonists while Shruthi will be the female lead. The budget of the movie is not yet decided but producers have flown in director and the actors to Cannes in France to launch their movie. They think it will attract International media towards the film.
