Reports about the actors remunerations are always interesting, as they indicate the demand of a certain person and his or her popularity.
Comedians, character actors, junior artists, lead actors and stars, everyone depend on one Friday to know what will their future.
But for few who sail through every storm and stay in the Industry and in people's minds for decades, Fridays don't matter too much.
For a director, writer and musician every film is a test but for actors, that too comedians and character actors, demand will always depend on how available they are and what does the character demand.
Hence, whatever experiments they do, if they come back to their earlier form or at least come close to what they were once, they again get many offers devoid of hits and flops.
Sunil is proving that again now, as per reports. He used to charge Rs. 2-3 crores for a film as a hero but after a decade of trying his luck as lead, he is back as a comedian.
In this new phase, many thought he might have start again from step 3 or step 2. But he is still on Top as he is charging Rs. 3.5 lakhs per call-sheet, it seems.
Even comedians like Vennela Kishore, Srinivas Reddy who grew in demand after his escalation are asking Rs. 2 lakhs per call-sheet which is considered high.
Sunil seems to be making grand re-entry and if one of his roles in movies like Aravinda Sametha, Silly Fellows and Amar Akbar Anthony, clicks with audience like before, he might announce himself as a comedian in even bigger way.
