US Box Office Update: Sunil's film fails miserably!

Sunil Varma is one of the famous comedians of Telugu Cinema and he shifted to serious lead roles with Maryadaramanna and that move has backfired after initial success. He is now, badly waiting for a big success to keep him going as a box office hero but that seems to be growing elusively distant as much as he is trying hard for it. He released his latest, Ungarala Rambabu for 15th September weekend. The film gained a negative talk in Telugu states and in Overseas too it has been poor.
The most shocking factor is that the movie failed to even collect normal amounts like 10K USD or 15K USD that you think any film can easily collect. The movie collection merely stands below 1000 USD and this has been a shock to the distributors and the movie team too. On the other hand, Nara Rohit's Kathalo Rajakumari did a fair amount of business 15K USD till now and the movie did not have any buzz going forward. So it being able to collect such an amount is also highly unexpected.
In the third weekend too, Arjun Reddy showed some muscle at the box office adding to it's 1.5 Million USD collections. But as Jai Lava Kusa is coming this weekend, the movie run at USA can be said has come to an end. Now, the people are more interested in knowing how much can Jai Lava Kusa and Spyder put up as premiere numbers with the many offers and affordable ticket prices. We have to wait and see.
