Sunil's funny story behind 'Peniviti' song

Out of all the songs from 'Aravinda Sametha', Peniviti song became a chartbuster. Ramajogayya Sastry's intense lyrics has grabbed the attention of the audience and the song gained more hype for the film.
Director Trivikram also stated that it is his favourite song in the movie and also said the background of the song. Now, Sunil who played the character artist role in 'Aravinda Sametha' said a funny story behind the 'Peniviti' song. He says that he used to sing the song for Trivikram. "My character name in 'Aravinda Sametha' movie is Neelambari. When Trivikram and I were sharing a room a long time ago, I used to cook, clean the room and make the suitcase ready for Trivikram every day. "Said Sunil and continued to say how the idea behind the song came.
"You know how the idea of Peniviti song came? When Trivikram went to Chennai, there were no phones. It has been a week and I was left with no money. I was waiting to know how he has been, whether he will come or not if he is eating on time and how is his health etc. Maybe that is why God kept my spirit in the pen while writing the lyrics" said Sunil and made the audience laugh.
