Superstar Director Puts The Distributor In A Situation!

He is a director who scored one of the biggest hits in cinema history with his last film. He is now making another high-budget film which is having a lot of expectations. He is making it as a pan-Indian film and the whole industry is sure of its success.
Wanting to be a part of the film, a star producer-distributor brought a specific area's rights for a whopping 75 crores without bargaining. He even reportedly gave 15 crores as an advance. But with the Corona outbreak, he is considering that it is not safe to invest such high amounts and asked for reducing the prize and the superstar director rejected his request at the very first go.
The director said that the deal is done and the producer-distributor cannot go back now. The denied the aspect of reducing the prize and told him to cancel if he wants and the advance will also be given after the movie's release. With this, the star producer-distributor got all his money stuck and is not knowing what to do next as per industry insiders.
