It's been 46 years since Superstar Rajinikanth ventured into films. Over the years he established himself as one of the popular heroes in the country and he currently enjoys a cult following across the country.
The Superstar will be seen next in Annaatthe, and the film shoot has been wrapped up recently. However, media reports claimed that Rajinikanth opened up about his retirement plan with the crew of Annaatthe.
If we have to take anything from the media reports, Rajinikanth wants to complete a few films before he retires from the industry. However, Rajinikanth said, his health condition should be in his favor to do this.
Some or the other news pertaining to his retirement continue to make it to the headlines after he underwent treatment earlier in December last year. After the doctor's advice, he took a U-turn from his political entry.
Rajinikanth enjoys a God Like status among his fans, thanks to the larger-than-life characters he plays in his films. His style and charisma made him the darling of the masses. His off-screen life is quite different. Rajinikanth likes to lead a simple life and he is a ground-to-earth person. He never wears makeup while coming to film function.
In his illustrious career, Rajinikanth had acted in over 160 films across the languages. He is the only actor in Indian cinema to act in every format, Black and white, color, animation, motion capture, 3D.
On the work front, Thalaiva's next outing will be Annaatthe, helmed by Siruthai Siva, who is famous for making mass entertainers like 'Veeram', 'Vedalam', 'Vivegam', and 'Viswasam. The much-awaited film has an ensemble cast of Meena, Prakash Raj, Kushboo Sundar, Mahanati fame Keerthy Suresh, and Lady Superstar Nayanthara. Annaatthe is expected to go for a release at the end of 2021.
