Superstar said straight no to Ram Charan

If the latest reports are to be believed, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has rejected the opportunity to act alongside Ram Charan in RC15. He has apparently turned down the opportunity to act with Charan in the Shankar directorial.
Apparently, Shankar penned a powerful villain role for RC15, and the makers intended to rope in Mammootty for the same.
However, Mammootty who is enjoying superstar status in South Indian cinema now has reportedly opted not to do negative roles at this point in his career. So, he decided not to sign Ram Charan's RC15.
Apparently, Shankar has penned a dreadful villain role and it shows the actor in a full-on negative shade. Mammootty did not feel this is the kind of role he should be playing now and he said straight no to the project.
Now that Mammootty is not onboard for the project, the makers should rope in some other star actor for the role. The makers have started the search for the same already.
RC15 is a political thriller directed by Shankar and it has Ram Charan, and Kaira Advani in the lead roles. The film is mounted on a big scale.
