Daughters of star heroes becoming heroines and establishing their careers in the film industry happens rarely in Tollywood. But Akkineni Nageswara Rao's grand daughter Supriya became a heroine. She debuted into Tollywood with Power Star Pawankalyan's Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi movie. Later, Supriya concentrated on her studies and settled as a director in Annapurna Studios.
She got married to late Charan Reddy who played the lead in Ishtam movie under the direction of Vikram K Kumar. However, the couple decided to part their ways and ended up getting divorced. After 2 decades, Supriya seems to be planning to test her luck once again in the films. She is playing a vital role in Adivi Sesh's upcoming movie Gudachari.
