For the first time in his career, Surender Reddy attempted a Remake (Thani Oruvan-Dhruva). Whether he would continue to do remakes in future? The Filmmaker makes it clear he have no such plans.
Surender Reddy reveals he conveyed to Ram Charan that he would never do a remake again in his career as recreating the essence of the original is a herculean task. He, however, claims to have enjoyed the making of 'Dhruva' and confidence of scoring a big success.
Actually, Surender Reddy was supposed to do a straight Telugu flick with Ram Charan. Upon watching 'Thani Oruvan', Charan asked the filmmaker if he could remake the Tamil blockbuster. Initially, Surender Reddy was hesitant but he took up the challenge.
When quizzed if Arvind Swamy wasn't interested in 'Dhruva' initially, Surender Reddy explains the 'Roja' Actor accepted the remake soon after he narrated the changed made to the Telugu version.
