Huge budget for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy!

Chiranjeevi proved that he just took a time gap from movies but his charisma has not vanished yet, with Khaidi No.150. The movie has been reported to be the only third 100 crores grosser of Telugu Cinema after Baahubali series. For 2017, Sankranthi, Chiranjeevi made a memorable return that his fans have been awaiting for since his exit.

With him back to the business, we cannot expect a simple film that he has been doing for ever and the actor is ready to take on Baahubali and bring to life the story of Uyyalavada Narasimha Reddy, the first Telugu patriotic hero, who fought against British Raj, for freedom in early 19th century. The movie will be a Pan India production with actors like Sudeepa, Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi coming together with Nayantara, Jagapathi Babu and Megastar Chiranjeevi.

Director Surrender Reddy has announced the project one year ago and till now, the shooting has not been started. After the best possible script work that the team could do, they are now ready to make it into a movie. From December, the team is planning to shoot the movie at real locations. Surrender Reddy and Director of Photography, Ratnavelu went on a location scout in Kurnool and they visited all the historic places associated with Narasimha Reddy and they are taking permissions to shoot the film there. The director revealed that the movie is being made at a 200 crore budget and at authentic locations.
