Why Surender Reddy roped in '8' concept?

Saying that he took two months to adapt the script into Telugu, director Surender Reddy stated that all credit goes to Ram Charan for re-doing the hero role in a new way in "Dhruva".
As the concept of Ashtadigbandhana is the most talked about part from Dhruva's climax, Surender explained it a lot. "The movie has an undercurrent of how good conquers evil. So we borrowed the analogy of the age-old philosophical concept Ashtadigbandhana, which is to trap evil forces. It clicked well", says the director, regarding the '8' concept used.
Meanwhile Dhruva is doing well in theatres, with 41+ crores share collection in 10 days.
