People are expected to make films just to release in OTT platforms just like Hollywood and experts say that it is not far. Platforms like Netflix and Amazon fund for web series quite often. If a director or writer approaches them with impressive lines, they produce the film and give them a budget. Suresh Babu is saying that they should follow the same rule for films too.
Though they may not make big-budget films, filmmakers can do films with the budget allotted by the streaming sites. If Amazon Prime officials get interested in a story, they will estimate the budget and give this to a local producer and he will make the film and give it to Amazon Prime.
