Talking about the film, producer Suresh Babu said, "Producer Rammohan always picks interesting subjects. Inside this film, story screenplay, heroine and the backdrop will be new. Surprisingly the film also discusses demonetisation and black money as well". Suresh further added, "Humour and romance without any pinch of vulgarity is the strength of Pittagoda".
