What If Entire Film Unit Takes Drugs?: Suresh Babu

Tollywood has been hitting the headlines with several controversies in the past few years. Drugs scandal is one of them. Irrespective of who is involved and who is not, the fact came out that drug usage is rampant in the film industry. Though drugs usage is synonymous with metro city culture, no one expected that Tollywood celebrities will be using drugs before the scandal broke out.
Responding to the drugs issue, senior producer D. Suresh Babu recently made sensational comments. He said that we should not mix drugs issue with the film industry because it is a personal issue. He said that "We can bring a rule to stop drug addicts from doing films. What if an entire film unit takes drugs? There are such groups. There are some celebrities who can't work without taking drugs. Some take drugs for penning a story, some take it for composing music. There are countless persons. They are very talented as well."
He also accepted that the top league celebrities will escape if they come up with a strict rule prohibiting drugs. Then they have to take action on relatively unknown persons.
